Vital First Aid Training is a fully regulated First Aid Training provider

 

My name is Emily and I have worked on the front line for the emergency services since June 2008 and have first hand experience of administering life saving first aid to adults, children and babies. In those 12 years I have dealt with a wide range of injuries including gun shot wounds, stab wounds, cardiac arrest, serious burns, road traffic injuries and many more.

After 10 years in my current role I decided to develop my career further and made the move to instructing, obtaining a National qualification as well as Level 3 award in Education and Training through City & Guilds. I currently use my knowledge and experience to teach others on the front line. I have successfully completed a Work Safe Training Systems First Aid Instructors course and I am accredited by Work Safe to deliver First Aid Training courses.

As an emergency services worker I have had to deal with the general accidents parents are faced with, however I have also dealt with a more serious incidents and the aftermath of fatal incidents. Often other members of the public try to help but do not have the knowledge to do so effectively.

​

This is when I first decided to introduce friends and family to first aid training. With the success of this and the feedback I received Vital First Aid Training Ltd was created. I have developed a course aimed at busy parents and carers to give them the knowledge and confidence to cope in an emergency and administer Vital First Aid.

I am also qualified to deliver Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), First Aid at Work (FAW) and other nationally recognised courses.

Using my experience in the emergency services I have developed a bespoke Mass Casualty Trauma Course, tailored specifically to prepare candidates for the type of injuries they may encounter should they be embroiled in a terrorist incident. This package is ideal for individuals and also businesses who wish to prepare their staff for such an event.

I also have a number of other trusted instructors with similar experience who assist when delivering training to larger groups. I am based in Bedfordshire but can travel to Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties.
